Entry-2-Employment @ Youth & Community Centre

E2E is a construction-based programme for young people ages 16-18, which is in partnership with WHG where learners are able to learn qualifications in key skills - Communication and Application of Number.

They also undertake training in order to btain the CSCS card - the basic requirements for working on a construction site. They also complete work placements with a range of tradespeople, where they can develop practical skills.

Learners have previously used their skills to work on a harden project at the centre, where they were able to put their learning into practice. Since the beginning of the programme in October 2007, 20 young people have gained employment using the 6-month programme.

E2E is on Monday, Tuesday& Friday mornings. This service is free of charge.
